Faith Formation

The mission of the Holy Redeemer Faith Formation program is to deepen childrens' understanding of our Catholic faith and to support parents/guardians in offering religious education instruction to children in Grades K-9. A student is eligible to receive First Eucharist after the completion of the religious education program for Grades 1 and 2. Confirmation is administered in Grade 9 to those students who have completed Grade 8 and Grade 9 curriculums.

Our Faith Formation program is a developmental one which builds upon a greater understanding of the liturgy, sacraments and scripture. As a child grows physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially, they also grow spiritually. Together with the family and through our Faith Formation program we strive to make each child more aware of Christ’s love and teach them to practice the Catholic faith in their everyday life through prayer and faithfulness to the Sacraments.
